PROCESS & EQUIPMENT DETAILS
How oily wastewater treatment fits your process.
Operating principle
Separation and treatment selected around free, dispersed and emulsified oil characteristics.
Fine air bubbles attach to suitable suspended material and float it to the surface. Coagulation and flocculation may be required based on treatability tests.
Engineering checks
- Jar / flotation test results
- Solids load and required separation area
- Recycle flow and air-release conditions
- Float-handling and chemical requirements
Configuration & equipment
- Conditioned feed inlet
- Recycle pressurization pump
- Air-dissolution / saturation system
- Flotation separation tank
- Float collection mechanism
- Clarified outlet and sludge discharge
Configuration options are reviewed against the project duty. Supply quantities and final scope are defined in the approved proposal.
| Process / operating item | Engineering requirement |
|---|---|
| Process review 1 | Removal efficiency and residual handling depend on the contaminant form and the selected separation process. |
| Operating and maintenance | Inspect air release and recycle pressure. Clean float collection equipment. Trend treated-water quality and float consistency. |
| Documentation | Project-specific datasheet, PFD, P&ID, equipment GA, electrical load list and O&M documentation as agreed. |

YOUR PROJECT, YOUR DESIGN BASIS
Configure your requirement.
Enter what you know. Leave unavailable values blank for engineering review.
A solution shaped by your requirements.
Separation and treatment selected around free, dispersed and emulsified oil characteristics. Treatment begins with understanding the effluent sources and their variability. Physical, chemical and biological stages are combined as appropriate, followed by polishing and sludge management.
What we review
- Average daily flow and hourly inflow profile
- Operating hours and peak-flow conditions
- BOD, COD, TSS, pH, nutrients and relevant contaminants
- Reuse or discharge objective
- Available area, levels and site interfaces
- Treatability, sludge handling and odour constraints
Capacity, materials, operating conditions and performance are specified after review of your project data. Product images are conceptual visualizations.
From design to operation
