PRODUCT DESCRIPTION & TECHNICAL DOCUMENTS

How two-pass ro system fits your process.

Operating principle

Two sequential RO passes for applications requiring further polishing of first-pass permeate.

Pressure drives water through a semipermeable membrane. The feed separates into permeate and a concentrate stream; recovery and membrane arrangement are established from water chemistry and a membrane projection.

Engineering checks

  • Feed ionic analysis, temperature, SDI and turbidity
  • Scaling potential at proposed recovery
  • Element flux, crossflow and pressure limits
  • Permeate quality and concentrate-management route

Configuration & equipment

  1. Feed conditioning and cartridge filtration
  2. High-pressure feed pump
  3. Membrane pressure housings
  4. Spiral-wound membrane elements
  5. Permeate and concentrate manifolds
  6. Pressure, conductivity and flow instruments
  7. Cleaning connections and control panel

Configuration options are reviewed against the project duty. Supply quantities and final scope are defined in the approved proposal.

Process / operating itemEngineering requirement
Process review 1Pass 1 permeate feeds pass 2. Interstage conditioning depends on the final water specification.
Process review 2Each pass has a concentrate outlet; any recycle is assessed separately.
Operating and maintenanceTrend normalized permeate flow and salt passage. Inspect differential pressure and cartridge loading. Use approved cleaning chemistry and membrane preservation.
DocumentationProject-specific datasheet, PFD, P&ID, equipment GA, electrical load list and O&M documentation as agreed.

EXPLORE YOUR DESIGN BASIS

See how recovery changes the water balance.

Move the recovery slider to compare permeate and reject at your entered feed flow.

Illustrative arithmetic using your inputs. These values are not measured plant results or a performance promise.

Permeate
7.00 m³/h
Reject
3.00 m³/h

Qpermeate = Qfeed × recovery; Qreject = Qfeed − Qpermeate. Feasible recovery needs chemistry and membrane checks.

Process inputs

Required flow, operating hours, feed source, full water analysis, temperature, target product quality, recovery target, pretreatment, cleaning philosophy, automation, MOC and utility constraints.

Equipment & execution preferences

Materials are reviewed separately for each component against the fluid chemistry, temperature and service conditions. Preferences are subject to technical suitability and the agreed proposal.

No details are sent until you choose a sending channel.

A solution shaped by your requirements.

Two sequential RO passes for applications requiring further polishing of first-pass permeate. The process train is selected from feed-water analysis and the final water specification. Pretreatment protects downstream treatment, while monitoring and cleaning provisions support reliable operation.

What we review

  • Required product flow and operating hours
  • Water source and complete laboratory analysis
  • Feed temperature, pH and fouling indicators
  • Target water quality and intended use
  • Utility availability and plant footprint
  • Pretreatment and cleaning requirements

Capacity, materials, operating conditions and performance are specified after review of your project data. Product images are conceptual visualizations.

From design to operation

Our scope can cover process and mechanical engineering, manufacturing, supply, installation, commissioning and ongoing support. The final proposal clearly defines supplier scope, client interfaces, optional items and exclusions.
