PRODUCT DESCRIPTION & TECHNICAL DOCUMENTS

How iron removal plant fits your process.

Operating principle

Oxidation and filtration selected around iron form, concentration and source-water chemistry.

Water passes through a selected media or resin bed. Separation, adsorption or ion exchange depends on the media duty; backwash or regeneration restores the relevant operating condition.

Engineering checks

  • Service flow and selected hydraulic loading
  • Bed depth, contact time and freeboard
  • Backwash expansion or regeneration demand
  • Design pressure, materials and corrosion compatibility

Configuration & equipment

  1. Vessel shell and access closure
  2. Inlet distributor
  3. Selected media or resin bed
  4. Supporting layer where specified
  5. Underdrain / collection system
  6. Service and backwash valve manifold
  7. Drain and sampling connections

Configuration options are reviewed against the project duty. Supply quantities and final scope are defined in the approved proposal.

Process / operating itemEngineering requirement
Process review 1The required chemistry and medium depend on contaminant species and competing constituents.
Process review 2Residuals, breakthrough monitoring and media regeneration or replacement require project review.
Operating and maintenanceRecord inlet/outlet pressure and water quality. Inspect media loss and distribution. Carry out backwash or regeneration to approved procedures.
DocumentationProject-specific datasheet, PFD, P&ID, equipment GA, electrical load list and O&M documentation as agreed.

Design notes
  • The required chemistry and medium depend on contaminant species and competing constituents.
  • Residuals, breakthrough monitoring and media regeneration or replacement require project review.

EXPLORE YOUR DESIGN BASIS

See how operating hours change energy use.

Enter the total running electrical load for this equipment or plant, then adjust its daily running hours.

Illustrative arithmetic using your inputs. These values are not measured plant results or a performance promise.

Daily electricity
80.00 kWh/day
30-day electricity
2400.00 kWh

Energy = electrical kW × running hours. Constant running load; standby load, starting transients and tariff charges are excluded.

Design flow, filtration duty, inlet turbidity/TSS/contaminant, service velocity or hydraulic loading, pressure, backwash source, media/element specification, MOC and automation.

Equipment & execution preferences

Materials are reviewed separately for each component against the fluid chemistry, temperature and service conditions. Preferences are subject to technical suitability and the agreed proposal.

No details are sent until you choose a sending channel.

A solution shaped by your requirements.

Oxidation and filtration selected around iron form, concentration and source-water chemistry. Equipment is selected from the treatment objective, flow profile and fluid characteristics. Media, contact conditions and maintenance provisions are reviewed for the actual duty.

What we review

  • Design flow and operating hours
  • Feed solids, particle characteristics and water analysis
  • Required separation or conditioning duty
  • Operating pressure and temperature
  • Cleaning, backwash or replacement requirements
  • Chemical compatibility and utility constraints

Capacity, materials, operating conditions and performance are specified after review of your project data. Product images are conceptual visualizations.

From design to operation

Our scope can cover process and mechanical engineering, manufacturing, supply, installation, commissioning and ongoing support. The final proposal clearly defines supplier scope, client interfaces, optional items and exclusions.
