PRODUCT DESCRIPTION & TECHNICAL DOCUMENTS
How industrial fermentor fits your process.
Operating principle
An agitated process vessel for controlled fermentation, with process-specific aeration, heat transfer, cleaning and instrumentation.
The vessel provides controlled mixing and a process-specific environment for fermentation. Gas addition, heat removal, sterile boundaries and cleaning depend on the selected biological process.
Engineering checks
- Review oxygen transfer and heat removal at operating viscosity
- Define hygienic design, containment and validated cleaning requirements
- Confirm design flow, operating profile and feed properties
- Agree materials, site interfaces, utilities and maintenance access
Configuration & equipment
- Process vessel and access ports
- Agitator and baffles
- Gas sparger where required
- Jacket or coil
- Temperature, pH and dissolved-oxygen instruments as required
- CIP/SIP connections and exhaust treatment
Configuration options are reviewed against the project duty. Supply quantities and final scope are defined in the approved proposal.
| Process / operating item | Engineering requirement |
|---|---|
| Process review 1 | Gas addition, sterile barriers and CIP/SIP are process-specific. This is not a validated production recipe. |
| Operating and maintenance | Inspect seals and instrumentation. Verify cleaning procedures and utility integrity. |
| Documentation | Project-specific datasheet, PFD, P&ID, equipment GA, electrical load list and O&M documentation as agreed. |
