Use measured flows, representative sampling and the final use of treated water to establish your design basis. Separate process and domestic streams where they have different treatment needs.

How the review progresses

1. Map the incoming water, individual wastewater sources and operating schedule.
2. Review representative analysis, existing equipment and site constraints.
3. Identify candidate treatment blocks and any required laboratory, pilot or vendor studies.
4. Agree the water balance, equipment duties, materials and supply interfaces in a technical proposal.
